On entering Squirrel View, you’ll find yourself in the open-plan living, kitchen and dining area. The leather sofa and wingback chairs are enhanced with woollen throws and sheep skins and the wood burning stove makes for cosy evenings. The kitchen area is well equipped with everything you’ll need to make your morning coffee or evening meal. Squirrel View sleeps 4 people and has 2 bedrooms, both rooms tastefully decorated with a Scottish theme.
This peaceful cottage is surrounded by a large wildlife garden with many seating areas in the grounds. You can prepare your dinner over the BBQ or toast marshmallows over the fire pit which is nestled amongst the trees. Entertainment is provided by the pheasants, wrens, goldfinches and woodpeckers who enjoy the well-stocked bird feeders. The garden is also regularly visited by red squirrels and roe deer.
