Newtonmore Hostel is a small independent hostel on Main Street, in a building that has been a hostel for over thirty years. Ten beds in three rooms, all on one floor, with a wood-burning stove in the sitting room and a kitchen big enough to cook supper without queueing. There is a proper drying room for wet boots and waterproofs, a small garden, and free Wi-Fi; bedding and towels are provided. Three bathrooms are shared on the corridor. We are one minute from the free village car park and a short walk from the railway station, with the Wildcat Trail from the door and Glen Banchor five minutes away.
