Gynack Walk

There is a large free car park just behind the Duke of Gordon Hotel in the centre of Kingussie, off Gynack Road, where there are also toilets and information about the local path network. From here return to the road and turn left to head uphill following the sign for the Gynack Mill Trail.

Corrieyairack Pass Route

A Walk on the Wild Side.

For a longer cross-country walk, based here in Newtonmore, the Corrieyairack has everything, from the gentle meanderings of the upper River Spey, through the pass itself amid high rolling moorland, and down by the side of Glen Tarff to the A82 near Fort Augustus.

The Badenoch Way

A 16km footpath from Dalraddy to Ruthven near Kingussie, the Badenoch Way winds through native woodland offering magnificent views of Highland glens, mountains, and rivers, with diverse wildlife abundant, including red squirrel, osprey, swans & deer.
