Crubenbeg Country House

CrubenbegHouse

If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and fancy a break in the beautiful Scottish Highlands, then Crubenbeg Country House is the perfect place to be.

Situated just 5 minutes from Newtonmore within the Cairngorms National Park, there is plenty to do and see with clean, fresh air and water, stunning landscapes and wildlife in abundance.

We are Dan and Lucy Thornton, who along with our dogs, Skye and Tali, offer an informal, friendly, top-quality B&B - a home from home, offering peace and tranquillity where you can relax and enjoy yourself whether you stay with us for a night or two, a short break or for longer luxury breaks. You can have one of our home-made delicious dinners, 7 days a week and put your feet up in front of the fire, to read, to chat, catch-up on your day or relax with a drink from wines and beers to spirits and of course our malt whiskys of which there is quite a selection.

We have four guestrooms consisting of 1 King-size four poster with ensuite, 1 Superking or Twin room with ensuite and 1 double room with external shower room. On the ground floor we also have a Superking or Twin room with ensuite and is configured for Catergory One disabled room. Each one different with its own distinguishing features and have superb views over the valley. We offer a wide selection for breakfast to suit everyone’s tastes including Breakfast Cranachan and Speciality Porridges, through to a cooked full or lighter Scottish and our variety of Pancakes including our famous Breakfast Stack! We are pet friendly too!
