Greenways is a lovely relaxed and comfortable home in the attractive Highland village of Newtonmore, with views over the 18th green of the golf course to the mountains beyond.

Newtonmore is an area of renowned natural beauty and part of Scotland's Cairngorms National Park.

If you are looking for peace and tranquillity with outdoor activities on the doorstep, this is where to come.

Hill walking and the wildcat trail, golfing and horse riding are all within a couple of minutes, while water sports at Loch Insh, Mountain Biking at Laggan and winter sports at Aviemore are within fifteen minutes.

Other attractions in Newtonmore include the Highland Folk Museum, the Clan Macpherson Museum and Waltzing Water. 'Monarch of the Glen' was filmed in and around Newtonmore and based at Ardverikie House.

The Accommodation
We offer one four poster double bedroom with en-suite shower room, One double bedroom with en-suite shower room, and One twin room with private bath and shower room.

We have a TV lounge with wood burning stove and offer a full cooked breakfast.

Packed lunches are available by arrangement and we have drying facilities, private parking and secure storage for equipment.

Children are welcome and we will accept dogs by arrangement. The house is fully non-smoking.

Bus stops are within walking distance.

The produce we use for our breakfast menu is sourced, wherever possible, from the surrounding area and our breakfast meats are provided by George Gow, a local butcher who makes his own award winning sausages. Vegetarian options are available.

How to find us -
On entering the village from Kingussie and the north, proceed over the pedestrian crossing and immediately turn left between the war memorial and the village hall - opposite Glen Road. The house is on the left. Note that Greenways is approached from Main Street, not Golf Course Road.
