Churches

St Brides, Church of Scotland is in the village itself whilst a few minutes away, in Kingussie, you’ll find the Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Rosary & St Columba and also the Badenoch Free Church.

The village is a thriving community with a wide variety of clubs, societies and associations, catering for lots of hobbies and interests.

We have one of the strongest Shinty Clubs in Scotland, an excellent Golf Club, a thriving Drama Club, Cub Scouts, Brownies and Rainbows. If bowls, gardening or floral art interest you, we have clubs for them too. We also have a Gaelic Playgroup, an Out of School Club and a Junior Sports Club. Contact details are laid out below.

Here you will find all the latest news from the Newtonmore community.

Right here in the village, we have our own, excellent Primary School, with secondary education being taken care of at the highly regarded Kingussie High just up the road.
